Rimpa-school plate, in iron glaze, decorated with stylized landscape painted under milky glaze producing soft, pinkish-gray effect. A brook runs through an iris-scattered meadow, evoking the free brushwork of the master, Korin, as mentioned in the calligraphy, brother of Kenzan.
