Description
Reddish-chocolate dish in underglaze-blue and underglaze-brown iron ground depicting Fujiwara Yasumasa (a mid-Heian period aristocrat) playing flute under a gibbous moon. The seal impressed on the ring foot isKozan. Post-1900, probably Showaperiod. 7-7/8″ (19.4 cm) diameter x 1-1/8″ (2.9 cm) high.
